As part of Work Package 1 "Management of the Erasmus+ PALETT-A project", all partners and members of the quality committee met at Galatasaray University for a three-day mission. This meeting helped strengthen coordination and the strategic vision of the project, establish a precise assessment of the actions already carried out, and collectively define the next steps of the program, following the official reception of delegations and the campus visit. Throughout the working sessions, participants presented the progress of the project within each partner institution, discussed, improved, and validated the quality manual, reviewed the expenditures made, and planned the actions for the next phase, while documenting and formalizing all decisions in a general report. This meeting reinforced a strong collaborative dynamic while ensuring the scientific, organizational, and financial coherence of the project. Special thanks to the Galatasaray University team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and commitment, which greatly contributed to the success of this international mission.
The first day of the meeting began with a discovery of the emblematic spaces of Galatasaray University (GSU). Partner delegations were welcomed by the host team for an institutional presentation and a guided campus tour, offering an immediate immersion into the academic and cultural environment of the university.
The first session of the mission, held on September 10, 2025, began with a welcome speech by the University Director, followed by the intervention of Prof. Ikbel Charfi, coordinator of the Erasmus+ PALETT-A project. She presented the project’s vision, its strategic objectives, and expected results, while recalling the key axes structuring the consortium’s actions.
Following this, each partner presented the progress of their activities, opening a rich and constructive exchange that helped outline the next steps. This session thus established a solid common framework and strengthened shared understanding among quality committee members and all partners, marking a structured start for the work of the following days.
On September 11, 2025, Dr. Sonda Kammoun, co-manager of the project, presented the quality manual at Galatasaray University. This strategic document defines the scientific, organizational, and pedagogical standards of PALETT-A.
After a constructive discussion rich in exchanges, the manual was validated by the members of the quality committee.
An essential milestone that strengthens the project’s approach and ensures its implementation according to high standards of rigor and transparency.
This afternoon was dedicated to the financial analysis of the project. The coordination team presented a detailed report on the expenditures made, followed by a collaborative discussion on the budget forecasts required for the preparation of the mid-term report scheduled for May 2026. This step ensured transparency in resource management, aligned the budgets of different partners, and guaranteed the continuity of upcoming actions.
