The PALETT-A project (Pedagogical Device with Ecological Intelligence for Transdisciplinary Teaching of Art, Design and Digital Media) represents an innovative international initiative aimed at transforming higher education in artistic and creative fields.
This Erasmus+ capacity-building project brings together 10 partners from 4 countries (Tunisia, France, Turkey, and Greece) around a shared vision: to develop an intelligent and ecological pedagogical device to modernize the teaching of arts, design, and digital media.
At the heart of the project is the creation of “pedagogical toolkits”, innovative learning tools designed from recycled materials (plastic, textile, paper), promoting a transdisciplinary and environmentally friendly approach. These palettes serve both as educational support and as a concrete demonstration of the principles of circular economy and eco-design.
The project particularly targets 120 students and 24 teachers from professional master’s programs in three Tunisian partner institutions:
While developing a model that can be replicated at national and international levels.
Duration: 36 months (2024 – 2027)
Improve the quality of teaching fundamental units in arts and crafts institutions in Tunisia by updating project methodology modules taught through an interdisciplinary project-based pedagogy using an innovative, intelligent, and ecological pedagogical device called PALETT-A.
The PALETT-A project is structured around an implementation strategy based on 6 complementary Work Packages (WP), deployed over a period of 36 months. This architecture ensures a coherent progression from design to dissemination of results, while guaranteeing rigorous management and continuous quality assurance.
Each Work Package addresses specific objectives, with a clear distribution of responsibilities between Tunisian and European partners:
This organization promotes a transversal approach based on co-creation and collective intelligence. The project timeline highlights key phases and moments of convergence between WPs, particularly during major events: kick-off meeting, international workshops, summer school, and final conference.
