Opening Day: Thursday, December 11
The first day of this meeting began with a warm welcome from the teams, followed by impactful opening remarks from:
Ms. Sonda Kammoun, co-manager of the project, who recalled the ambitions of the PALETT-A project;
Ms. Amel Nafti, Director of ENSAD Dijon, who highlighted the importance of international partnerships in building a resilient educational future.
Ms. Wiem Chekh Rouhou, President of the TAKTIC association, shared the vision of committed and eco-responsible design through her conference entitled: “Teaching Eco-Responsible Communication”.
A bilateral meeting between ENSAD Dijon and TAKTIC took place to discuss the web design and graphic materials of the PALETT-A website, in order to strengthen the coherence and effectiveness of the project’s communication.
The day concluded with a plenary conference delivered by Prof. Ikbel Charfi, manager of the PALETTA project, entitled: “Higher Education and SDGs: What Place for Design?”.

Lectures by ISMM faculty members on ecological and innovative approaches to teaching textile design.
- Ms. Jihen Trabelsi: “Ecological and innovative approach applied to textile design education”
- Ms. Ikram Zbali: “Teaching textile design at ISMM”
- Ms. Boutheina Achour & Mr. A. Anis Kraiem: “Project methodology: innovative pedagogical tools”
These contributions highlight how ISMM integrates sustainability, circular economy, and new technologies into its programs, in alignment with the objectives of the PALETT-A project.

The highlight of these days: the official inauguration of the PALETT-A prototyping workshop at ISMM!
This space dedicated to innovation and creation embodies the project’s commitment to design education through practice and experience.
